I’m not Your Petite Fille

I was never a little girl for like, forever,
That’s what as far as I can remember.
Going through my old photos I think of
Them as my youth which I’m still in
I will be forever in it, my most precious gift,
My eternal youth, my fountain of love.

I played, I play with myself,
But never lost the little girl who played with me
I never shut my heart to her.
She couldn’t overpower me, I had the command
But she was there, she will be forever
With my soul, with my-inner-shelves.

I sang song of him, chanting of him,
I looked for him, everywhere I went
I looked for his shadow, for I loved his smell
His face was paracetamol to my feverish head
I wish to see him whole again,
I want all of him, with me, runnin’.

I cared for the people around me
I care for them as much as I did back when
I was still looking for eggshells on my path.
Not much have changed around me,
Except maybe I, have gotten better at caring.
I hope to be even better.

Am I pretty, why won’t I be?
I have all the qualities that a woman should have!
I have the qualities that any woman would be
Sick and tired of me from burning jealousy.
I am a running steam engine, smoking
And charging through the thick, and smiling!

Why are you hesitant to compliment me?
Do you not care for me, or are you too perplexed?
Or, are you still thinking, if it is a dream,
Are you still not getting my hidden feelings?
Are you worshiping me, not understanding me?
I’m no Kami-sama, just a girl who never grew.

I know people think of me as the weird girl
Always running on the beach, giggling
Always cheerful without a reason or anyone.
Or, maybe I have learnt to stay happy even when
The world seems like a hell on earth for all
I provided drizzle on myself with a showerhead.

Will you get a share of my divine creations?
My own set of universe, my kinda paradise.
Your rules aren’t obeyed here,
Still, I can say for sure, your dreams had been
A very popular show for the people here living
Under the never ending sunshine of my hopeful sun.

Want to know about my creations, what they
Mean to me? What they stand for in my life?
They are my oasis to my deserted and  desolate past
“serenity to my chaos”, my dazzling pandemonium.
Not just that, no it’s more than that,
It’s how I make a mark, it’s how I, will change the world.
