What will happen if I lose you?
What will happen if I lose You?
Will I not stir up hell,
Looking for you?
Will I not ravage heaven,
Searching for you?
I have been chasing your shadow
For many a thousand years.
For a hundred generations,
I have been gazing at your image.
Dreaming of you, I have gone
Crazy, as a mad prospector
Running after a bright red willow-the-wisp.
The very thought of you
Brought warmth to the frozen soul.
An ephemeral bliss resides
As my unforeseen desires prowl.
The ravages of a lost adoration
Can bring down the mountain
Like a mere wax-candle can scorch the cornfield.
Do the feelings reciprocate,
Or, they are like caresses to thine stony locks.
